So-yeon of T-ara Diagnosed with New Flu

Singer/actress So-yeon of idol group T-ara has been diagnosed with new H1N1 influenza and suspended all activities. So-yeon had shown flu symptoms such as high fever and vomiting during the filming of TV drama “The Masters of Study.” She was immediately rushed to the hospital after fainting on the set.

At first So-yeon was diagnosed with simple seasonal influenza, but after a re-test doctors confirmed that she had contracted H1N1 influenza. Because of So-yeon’s absence, T-ara will suspend all their media appearances, including the music shows on Korea’s three major networks. The group will resume their activities early next week when So-yeon is cleared for work. T-ara has been topping the music charts with their hits “Bo Peep Bo Peep” and “Like the First Time.”
