Asal – Usul Nama Girlband Rainbow

Gak bakalan lupa dong ama girlband fresh yg debut akhir 2009 ini… Yap mereka kan ’serumah’ ama SS501 tuh…. Ternyata ada rahasia yg terjadi di antara keduanya loh… Apakah itu ???

Saat diwawancara Arirang, mereka mengatakan kalo tadinya, nama girlband mereka itu bukan Rainbow loh… Lah???

Sebenernya, nama Rainbow itu usulan dari fans. Cuma mereka masih bingung nentuin. Tapi, akhirnya Kim Kyu Jong Oppa dari SS501 menyarankan nama Rainbow lebih bagus untuk nama ‘adiknya’ ini. Karena, nama asalnya cukup sulit diucapkan dan agak ribet, makanya jadilah idenya Kyu Jong Oppa ini di-acc ama pihak DSP.

Oh, iya… Masih inget ama lagu sub-grup SS501 gak??? Yg judulnya UR Man itu loh…. Nah, rencananya, Rainbow mau nyanyi versi balasannya nih, judulnya Not Your Girl… Karena penulis kedua lagu itu masih satu orang yg sama kok, Han Sang Won.

Selain itu… Rainbow juga membuka rahasia ‘keluarga’ mereka dengan ‘kakak2nya’, seperti SS501 dan KARA. Mau tahu lebih lanjut…??? Tonton aja videnonya berikut ini…

Rainbow is more developed and sexier than Kara

7-member girl group Rainbow has been gaining a great deal of popularity lately for their sexiness on stage. And although they debuted later than their fellow record label seniors, Kara, Rainbow group members are actually older on average.

During the filming of an upcoming episode of "Hanyoung's Rock You," Rainbow was introduced with the following statement:

"Although they debuted after Kara, the average age of the members is older. In addition, they are one step above Kara in terms of sexiness and their current development as artists."

This statement most likely stemmed from their long period of training prior to debuting, as well as their charisma and sexy presence on stage.

Other notable segments included Jisook stating that her heart was beating when she saw SNSD's Taeyeon. And finally, the members stated that during their 4 years of training together, in addition to their debut now, they never fought and its because they have a very open relationship where they talk about all of their feelings.

Rainbow debuted with "Gossip Girl" and they are now beginning promotions for their new track, "Not your girl."

The episode will air on January 3rd, 2010.
