2009 KBS Drama Awards was held last night, Dec. 31, 2009 at the Seoul Yu Yi Do of KBS Shin Kwan Open Hall. Lee Min Ho won for Best Newcomer Award, while Goo Hye Sun won in Netizen Awards, and Excellence Drama Actress Award (tied with Kim Tae Hee)
And Best Couple for Boys Over Flowers (along with Yoon Sang Hyun & Yoon Eun Hye (My Fair Lady), Lee Byung Hun Kim Tae Hee (IRIS) and Yu Seon && Lee Pil Mo (Sons of Sol Pharmacy House).

f(x) Leader Victoria becomes a cover girl

Asia pop dance group, f(x)'s leader, Chinese member, Victoria, has already captivated many with her beauty, including U-KISS member, Soohyun. She has recently transformed her image into a party girl, and has become a cover girl.

She has become the cover girl for the compilation album "Groovy Honey House Vol. 1"
In the photoshoot for the album cover, Victoria changed into a jolly party girl, which has captivated many fans with her transformation from the loveable and sweet image of f(x).

Why would she be on a cover for an album that is not hers? The text at the bottom of the cover specifies it is a compilation distributed by no other than SM Entertainment. The album features electronica, house, and dance music and plans to introduce such genres from well known foreign dance artists to a Korean audience.

Victoria was casted in 2007 in Beijing, China, where she studied martial arts at a dance school. She was well known to many through many media appearances in music videos for SHINee's "Noona is so Pretty" and Super Junior M's "U," as well as her many advertisements, such as a Samsung Anycall's "Anydream" CF with Rain, "Spris" with Lee Junki, and she was even the face of Samsung's LCD TV in China.

Rainbow is more developed and sexier than Kara

7-member girl group Rainbow has been gaining a great deal of popularity lately for their sexiness on stage. And although they debuted later than their fellow record label seniors, Kara, Rainbow group members are actually older on average.

During the filming of an upcoming episode of "Hanyoung's Rock You," Rainbow was introduced with the following statement:

"Although they debuted after Kara, the average age of the members is older. In addition, they are one step above Kara in terms of sexiness and their current development as artists."

This statement most likely stemmed from their long period of training prior to debuting, as well as their charisma and sexy presence on stage.

Other notable segments included Jisook stating that her heart was beating when she saw SNSD's Taeyeon. And finally, the members stated that during their 4 years of training together, in addition to their debut now, they never fought and its because they have a very open relationship where they talk about all of their feelings.

Rainbow debuted with "Gossip Girl" and they are now beginning promotions for their new track, "Not your girl."

The episode will air on January 3rd, 2010.

Song Festival's most popular song of the year?

At the KBS song festival, the most popular song will be selected based on how much love was received by the song throughout the year. There were 7 canditates, and the competition was very tight.

On December the 30th, at 9:55 pm, at Yeouido's KBS broadcast center, the 2009 Song Festival was hosted by Hwang Soo Joon, Kim Kyung Ran, and Han Suk Joon.

This year, seven songs were in particular loved a lot by fans. 2PM's Again&Again, Super Junior's Sorry Sorry, SNSD's Gee, 2NE1's I Don't Care, Kara's Mister, Davichi's 8282, Park Ji Young's Being Hit by a bullet, were all in a tight competition for the best song of the year.

On this day, the opening performance was Lee Seungi with his song 'Love Is' which was performed with his active dancing and his beautiful voice.

After Lee Seungi's performance, 4minute performed 'Muzik' and Hot Issue', which was followed by Park Jin Young's 'No Love No More', which were performed with powerful dancing.

2PM wants to work with…

Fangirls, prepare yourselves because each 2PM member picked himself a lovely lady that he would like to work with.

On the 1st January edition of MBC Section TV, each 2PM member was interviewed and asked which actress / celebrity he would want to shoot a CF with.

The answers were pretty interesting.

Junho picked busty teenager Shin Se Kyung, Wooyoung, Lee Na Young, Junsu, Kim Min Jung, Chansung, Lee Chae Young and Taecyeon, of course, Ha Ji Won. Thai Prince Nichkhun surprised everyone, including his fellow members, by picking the interviewer Saerom.

Ryu Si Won’s selca pictures with Aya Ueto

Ryu Si Won really knows how to impress the Japanese. Previously, he took some photos with Yuko Fueki. Now, he has more selca shots out and this time it's with Aya Ueto.

After School’s back on Music Bank with “Because of You”

After School has definitely gone through many changes during the year of 2009 as they brought on UEE as a new member in the first half of the year while they lost SoYoung in the second half.

Many missed SoYoung after a year of strong hit singles like Ah! and Diva, but newcomer replacements Reina and Nana made a strong impression with the fans. Now with its new members, After School starts off the new year as they return with their chart topping single Because of You on New Year's Day.



But it was a pity that they couldn't get into the top 3 of K-Chart in the new year since they had been up there in the closing weeks of 2009.

Girl group T-ara has definitely been quite the success story of 2009 as they made their debut early on in the year with their song Lies and following up with the TTL project in the summer. T-ara finally released their first full length album titled 'Absolute First Album' and has garnered much success with heavy praise.

SNSD’s Taeyeon caught molesting a girl

It has been revealed that Taeyeon, a member of SNSD/Girl's Generation, was spotted molesting a female victim during one of year-end award ceremonies.

The victim was identified as Nicole, a member of another girl group Kara. The photographic evidence shows Taeyeon approaching her with an innocent smile along with accomplice Sunny, then quickly turning into a hungry beast and digging her fingers into Nicole's money maker while being surprised at the size of the trophy.



The police announced, "We cannot press charges against Taeyeon because first, Nicole did not file any complaints and second, this is just too cute to label as a crime." Neither SNSD or Kara made any official statements regarding this matter.

We reported just before the year was out that Cube Entertainment was going to debut Hyuna as a solo artist, apart from her group work with 4minute.

Despite the turmoil that TVXQ / DBSK / Tohoshinki is going through, the boys are still bringing in the big bucks. On December 30th, tvN ENEWS '블랙박스 / Blackbox' ranked the top 10 entertainers in terms of revenue earned and the boys of TVXQ came out on top. The top 10 ranked as the following:

Junsu had his money taken away

Eunhyuk: When I was in middle school, there was once our S.R.D* members arranged to go to the amusement park and have fun. Who knew, that morning, my stomach hurt like mad, and I gave them a call saying I couldn’t go. After that, I kept lying on the bed. Later at night, they called to say, at the amusement park entrance, they met a group of hyungs who were snatching money, and all their money got taken away. In the end, they could only stand at the main gate and take a look, before coming back.

Eunhyuk: Oh, so it was you… Anyway, thinking about it now, at that time, my stomach hurt at the right time.

*S.R.D is a group that was formed by Eunhyuk, Xiah Junsu and 2 other friends wile they were in school. S.R.D stands for Sing, Rap & Dance.

Eunhyuk: Ketika saya di sekolah menengah, pernah ada SRD * kami anggota diatur untuk pergi ke taman hiburan dan bersenang-senang. Siapa yang tahu, pagi itu, saya sakit perut seperti orang gila, dan aku menelepon mereka mengatakan bahwa saya tidak bisa pergi. Setelah itu, aku terus berbaring di tempat tidur. The first celebrity couple of the new year is…

SportsSeoul revealed on the first day of 2010 that actress Kim Hye Soo and actor Yoo Hae-Jin are dating. For those that aren't so familiar with those names, Kim is known for her amazing body, her superb fashion sense, and last but not least, her ability to act. According to a source that is well-informed of this matter, they met back in 2008 when filming the movie Tazza together. Yoo might not be the most handsome guy in the world, but the source describes him as "the perfect guy". He is smart, funny and kind, and basically it is impossible not to fall for him, according to the source.
