Lee Seung Gi expresses unhappiness to YoonA-TaecYeon scandal

SBS variety show Strong Heart MC Lee Seung Gi reveals his unhappiness to YoonA-Ok TaeYeon scandal.
So Nyeo Shi Dae YoonA and 2PM TaecYeon was present in the recent filming of ‘Strong Heart’. The 2 had showed not just their dances as Korea’s representative idols, but also their good speaking.
Especially during the filming, Lee SeungGi-YoonA-TaecYeon “love triangle” was the hot issue amongst the guest appaearances. Previously, YoonA and TaecYeon put up a couple performance for MBC Gayo Festival on 31st December, which had sparked off talks of scandal. Back then, the 2 had clarified with the comment “It is just for business” to calm the scandal rumours.

So the issue of scandal between the 2 was put in the spotlight during filming that day even though the 2 had made it clear that it was just for pure entertainment purpose. With that, Lee SeungGi was seen uncomfortable during all the talk about the scandal between the 2.
Lee SeungGi has also always proclaimed that YoonA is his ideal type of girl. With that YoonA also revealed, “I’m really happy that Lee SeungGi has chosen me as his ideal type of girl.”
It is said that the YoonA was also made to choose her ideal type between Lee SeungGi and TaecYeon during the filming.
Meanwihle, the show is set to air on 9th February at 11.05pm.

Cinderella’s Sister cast welcomes 2PM’s Taecyeon with a prank

Rookie actor 2PM’s Taecyeon got pranked by sunbae actors Moon Geun Young, Chun Jung Myung and Seo Woo. All four of them are part of the upcoming drama KBS 2TV Cinderella’s Sister.

Since Taecyeon is a hoobae and the cast members are not yet close with him, the sunbae actors decided to play around a little. A few days ago, the actors all met for the first time. Chun Jung Myung, Moon Geun Young and Seo Woo wanted Taecyeon to feel less nervous so they decided to pull a hidden camera prank.

The news got out today that Seo Woo pretended to act like an immature fangirl towards Taecyeon. Chun Jung Myung started to seriously scold her for her actions and then Seo Woo acted upset and started “crying” to Moon Geun Young. Taecyeon was totally caught off guard and didn’t know what to do.

This brought them a lot closer and they definitely shared a laugh. (Although I wouldn’t be surprised if Seo Woo is a real fangirl at heart though; who doesn’t love 2PM?)

Idol Group Members — RANKED!

Fans don’t just rank the best idols, but now – they have ranked idol members as well. Who would you think would top per idol group? open this post to find out.

The ranking of idol group members have been the hot topic online amongst netizens. Fans of each idol group revealed the ranking of the group which they support. In So Nyeo Shi Dae, member SooYoung was ranked #1, while in 2PM and Dong Bang Shin Ki, the youngest members ChanSung and Max ChangMin are ranked #1 in their respective groups.

Other than ranking the members in each group according to age, height, build, time of joining the company, broadcast hit etc they also compared the potential for further celebrity career development, mass popularity, fashion sense, language abilities and individual talents etc.

So Nyeo Shi Dae

In So Nyeo Shi Dae, fans ranked SooYoung at #1, for reasons that she is charismatic in her ways and has a good sense of variety on broadcast shows.

Comparing on language capabilities, youngest member SeoHyun was at #1 while in terms of popularity Tiffany was #1 and for singing abilities, TaeYeon was ranked #1.

As for 2PM, JaeBum is ranked #1 in 4 categories – age, broadcast appearance, build and fandom. While in terms of overall sequence in the group, youngest ChanSung was ranked #1.

In terms of language, member Nich Khun was ranked #1 – he masters 4 languages including Korean, English, Thai and Chinese, while TaecYeon is at #2 as he understands Korean, English and Spanish.

ChanSung was ranked #1 under the category of ‘NomSaByeok – The unbreakable 4 walls’ for he has once set the record of eating 49.5 bananas. While the members who uses internet sites like Cyworld most frequently were ‘Jjang Cy Boy’ WooYoung and ‘Ok-tizen’ TaecYeon.

Dong Bang Shin Ki

For Dong Bang Shin Ki, youngest member ChangMin was ranked #1 overall in the group for his confidence and ‘gluttony’/appetite.

Micky YooChun was ranked #1 for fashion sense, UKnow YunHo ranked #1 for his build and general popularity, Xiah JunSu ranked #1 for charisma and gag skills and Hero JaeJoong ranked #1 for broadcast appearance.

Fans of groups 2AM and SHINee also did similar rankings for the members.

2PM's Taecyeon also cast for "Family" season 2

Korean boy band 2PM member Taecyeon [JYP Entertainment]

Korean idol group 2PM's Taecyeon has become the latest celebrity to join the new cast of variety show "Family Outing", according to one of the show's producers on Friday.

"Taecyeon has decided to appear on the second season of 'Family'" said SBS entertainment producer Nam Seung-yong in a phone call with Asia Economic Daily. He added that they are "planning to cast one or two more people" but added that it is "too early to say who they will be."

Producers of "Family" have been recruiting new members for the show with the entire original cast from the first season -- including main hosts Yoo Jae-seok and singer Lee Hyori -- set to leave the show after shooting the final episode next week.

So far, second season cast includes 2PM's Taecyeon, Girls' Generation member Yoona, actress and show host Kim Won-hee, comedians Ji Sang-ryul and Shin Bong-sun and actor Yoon Sang-hyun.

The "reality-based" variety show, which premiered in June 2008, came under scrutiny early last year when one of the scripts was leaked on the Internet. Fans were outraged to learn that show was not "real' and ratings had been declining ever since.

The second season is scheduled to air around late February or early March.

2PM wants to work with…

Fangirls, prepare yourselves because each 2PM member picked himself a lovely lady that he would like to work with.

On the 1st January edition of MBC Section TV, each 2PM member was interviewed and asked which actress / celebrity he would want to shoot a CF with.

The answers were pretty interesting.

Junho picked busty teenager Shin Se Kyung, Wooyoung, Lee Na Young, Junsu, Kim Min Jung, Chansung, Lee Chae Young and Taecyeon, of course, Ha Ji Won. Thai Prince Nichkhun surprised everyone, including his fellow members, by picking the interviewer Saerom.

2PM finished the interview by wishing everyone a Happy New Year.
